The Throat Chakra

The Throat Chakra

I was informed that the Throat Chakra is the Second Yoni.  So when I began so many healings in my Sacral chakra, I had noticed that my throat chakra had a lot to say about it, and was taking notes about it.  Then my teacher brought it up and it all began to make sense!

I specifically began to encourage myself to speak my truth, even if it was in smaller ways.  I started very small, like making quiet spaces for myself to rest at social events, because I get tired easily, and simply asserting myself as a roommate and declining to do free labour.  Those sound small to others but they are big for me.  They are ways I would notice, if no one else would.

While healing my Throat chakra I specifically began to encourage myself to speak my truth, even if it was in smaller ways.

Then I discussed being very hurt by a friend with my psychologist.  She asked very shrewdly what would happen if I just said what I said to her, to that friend.  I am very into self-improvement and change, and so I took that suggestion and ran with it.  I don’t like to play games or attack others either, so I had simply ignored that friend for the week following when I was angry and hurt, letting myself become calmer.  We sat down and discussed.  It went so well that I was encouraged to do the same in other relationships.

Now it’s created a positive boundary-shift, which is huge in my life, but I am finding out how to discuss, set, and keep boundaries, and ultimately, be my own Goddess.  I am learning how to ask nicely but also that I don’t need to apologise for what I believe is necessary.

These are revelatory.

I have had difficulty speaking my truth, asking for anything I truly wanted. When I started healing my throat chakra I felt a rapid connection to my ability to communicate and regulate myself sexually, sensually, and set my own boundaries, instead of allowing others to set them for me.  This is incredible for me, as someone who as been a part of abuse situations.

I am now using my voice in many situations and instead of remaining silent, I am informing others, and being given the chance to share my truth in multiple places.  Instead of declining, I am volunteering and extremely grateful for the opportunity.  These opportunities have sparked my desire and will to begin my own will to share more, and aid others in the fields in which I have expertise.

It will be an important, fascinating journey to learn how to regulate this chakra healthily.

I am interested in learning how to play an instrument, how to speak other languages, and I would like to continue being more honest with my family, with myself, and with my loved ones, instead of remaining silent, or telling white lies to save an ego or in a misguided attempt to be kind.

I had no idea that I had so many problems with this chakra until my sacral chakra healing began.  Believing in my own Divinity goes hand-in-hand with speaking and acting my truth.  Guiding myself through Love, I guide my way into the Light.

This healing is the healing of transparency and truth in word, thought and deed.

The next chakra that we will discuss is the Third-eye chakra.
